Whoopi Goldberg confirms space aliens are among us: ‘They’re already here’ (watching us)
After becoming an alien believer publicly previous summer, “The View” moderator and veteran actress Whoopi Goldberg has made a bold confession on her beliefs.
“They’re already here,” Goldberg said during a recent exchange with “Ghostbusters” star Kumail Nanjiani on the talk show. “They’ve been present here for a short period of time.”
The topic emerged after another of the show’s hosts questioned Nanjiani — who had a small part in an “X-Files” episode long before recording a podcast about the show — if he regard as true in ghosts following his experience rebooting the iconic film.
“I don’t know if I consider ghosts to be true, I’ve never had an encounter or anything,” he said. “I’ll tell you what: I do believe in aliens. I guess aliens are like covering us, waiting for us to get it together, so they can come on down.”
It was then that Goldberg told her co-hosts that she believes aliens are present between us. Playing along, the “Silicon Valley” star questioned Goldberg what she believes the aliens are doing — and that’s when things got really bizarre.
“They’re watching us,” Goldberg said matter-of-factly to laughs from both the audience and her companions, which changed the topic away from the extraterrestrial and back onto Nanjiani.
This isn’t the only time in last months that the “Sister Act”-tress has talked aliens, either.
Previous year, she said during another episode of “The View” to say that she’d been a believer for a long period of time— and that she knew they were real long before Congress had its innovative but totally opaque hearings about the Pentagon’s understanding of what they call “unidentified anomalous phenomena” or UAPs.
“Well, I knew,” Goldberg said previous July of the hearings, which viewed an ex-government employee arguing that the military had reverse-engineered alien artifacts. “I m unaware why everybody else is so shocked. We’re not alone in this whole universe. Absolutely not.”
“There are additional things in heaven and Earth that we know, and we have to be aware of, because that is the nature of being an Earthling,” she quipped later, mentioning the famous “Hamlet” line. “It’s going to happen, it has happened, and, so far, we’re absolutely right”.
While she’s distant from the first celebrity to become an alien believer, it is a plus point for team ET that they have Whoopi in their favor — after all, we’re discussing about an actor with an iconic role on “Star Trek: The Next Generation.”
